Does wisdom deepen with age?
It makes sense that most living creatures should deepen in awareness of what it means to be alive, as time passes by.
What does advancing years have to do with acquiring wisdom? The connection is often assumed to be credible, but we can’t simply assume that everyone becomes wiser as they age.
People are also conditioned to believe that they should aim to be regarded as repositories of life skills as elders, when there are no identifiable ways of measuring what this entails.
Some feel comfortable with roles assigned to them, based on this point of view. Others might think differently.
If each person decides to engage with other individuals based on active seeing and hearing, would it make a difference to human relations?
