Focusing on imprints
Experts often refer to imprints that are passed on through generations. In many cases, they focus on unresolved patterns, but it is likely that our forbears also give us attributes that we should aim to raise to new heights.
Identifying these traits is not always easy. Focusing on making the most of the present moment is hard enough. Being conscious of appropriate amounts of time and energy to use in such reflective practice is something we ought to learn in formal education.
Once the tendencies are identified, we all have personal ways of processing the information before we share it with others.
Distraction only delays the process, but we don’t know that, unless if we’re lucky enough to realise this, one way or another.
“Why did I waste so much time?” is a question one might ask one’s self eventually.
