Today, I saw some signs of what life could look and feel like after the lock down season. Shops, cafes and bars offering fancy fares were open. The sun shone radiantly. It almost felt like a stroll around at Glastonbury Festival.
Meanwhile, amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 Bill are introducing a whole new issue around choices any of us can make about what we do with our own bodies.
Some of us kept within the lock down restrictions of recent months down to a T. Now we know that several decision makers who formulated the rules had other ideas regarding their own lifestyles.
If people decide to mind their own businesses, how are the rules going to be adhered to in the long term?
Are we not living through life affirming times?
