In search of a calling
How does one recognise a calling?
Is it the activity that you are willing to give as much time, energy and attention to as possible, regardless of what it offers you in return?
Or should the sheer pleasure of being involved in the activity be regarded as the main reward?
Some folks are lucky enough to be born into situations where their prospects flourish with ease, as they respond to the pull of their callings.
Others have to discover the paths of their destinies through long processes of trial and error, which could be compared to kissing a pond full of frogs to find their soul mates.
