Our emotional seesaws

Psychological ups and downs are part of life. Most human beings know how it feels to face a setback and its emotional impact.

Depending on how far each of us has travelled on our journey towards maturation, we should know when to give each other space to process thoughts and feelings in such moments. Due to the randomness of the ways we learn to interact, sometimes tricky situations emerge.

No condition is permanent, however. Resilience often helps a person who is feeling vulnerable to recover. Since nobody else is paying attention all of the time to such a process, it can be a jolt to the system when he or she bounces back to a previous level of ebullience.

And the moral is….? We should all be left alone to work through our personal issues, unless if we ask for help or advice.

This approach might be difficult for some, but practice makes perfect, of course.
