Remembering colours

Imagining sonic expression in colours is subjective, in the sense that everyone will have his or her own unique way of perceiving things.

Music of some cultures seems to stand out for being exceptionally vivid and colourful. And within a particular heritage, some musicians seem to be more capable of bringing out colours than others.

The Beatles will always have a special place within British music, partially because of the depth and breadth of the expressive range in their output.

Whether one focuses on creative or interpretative skills, this factor probably determines how memorable one’s work shall be in the long run.

Is this notion useful for making choices about suitable ways to expend time and energy?
