Waiting for the guru
My guru says….
Maybe it’s because of the way many folks learn to function in the world. Most of us come across role models who want us to remain dependent on following their inclinations, early in life.
When we get opportunities to make our own decisions and choices, we sometimes falter, because we still yearn for the guidance of our primary carers. I’ve been there, so I know the terrain only too well.
Outsourcing personal power functions on various levels, as sociologists and psychotherapists will confirm. We all have our moments of truth, however.
